Kampala, Uganda – 22 October 2026: The Uganda Handball Federation has officially conducted a leadership handover ceremony at the Uganda Olympic Committee (UOC) offices, marking the transition from outgoing President Mrs. Sheila Angonzibwa Richardson to Mr. Fred Balenzi, a former Vice President in charge of Administration at the UOC. Following the handover, the new Executive Committee also met with the General Secretary of the National Council of Sports (NCS) to discuss key issues concerning the development and promotion of handball in Uganda.

The Federation appreciates Mrs. Richardson for her service and contribution to the sport and wishes Mr. Balenzi and the new Executive Committee success as they embark on a new chapter focused on strengthening governance, nurturing talent, and advancing handball development nationwide.
